Most of our repeat guests that were here with us during the 2007 season experienced all the major changes we made during the winter of 2006 and 2007!  For those of you who we did not get to see in 2007 we hope to see you again soon.  We look forward to meeting the new guests in 2008 and welcoming them to our Lakewood family.

Here are some of the changes from 2007 season to the 2008 season.

Due to difficulties with the license machine system and communication issues we no longer sell fishing licenses.  You may get your license at any local bait shop on your way in or online at the DNR website.

We just purchased 2 new Hydro Bikes for water fun.  This will be part of our water toy race activity this summer.  Start peddling and rowing now!!!

To insure your cabin and resort is properly cleaned and maintained while keeping costs down we have been forced to change our check out time to 8:30 AM!  Check in will remain the same AFTER 3PM.    If you do make it to our area early we ask that you stop by The Gosh Dam Place on Hwy 46, tell them that you are a Lakewood Lodge guest and they will honor 10% off.  Stop, grab a bite to eat, have a drink, relax and come see us at 3PM. Your cabin will be ready and waiting.

In 2007 Krista with her activities and games was a big hit with the kids.  Therefore we have hired her to be here 2 times a week for the 2008 season!
